Please contract SSgt Vasquez jessee.vasquez_arguera@us.af.mil or (240) 612-5679 for appointment and information for access to Andrews AFB Please have any questions sumbitted to SSgt Vasquez at jessee.vasquez_arguera@us.af.mil by Thursday 1 June 2023 at 4:00PM EST The clause 52.237-1 Site Visit has been added in description. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------Update---------------------------------------------------------- RFI Questions and Answers, was added as attachment 4. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 459th HQ facility requires that its HVAC chiller be diagnosed and repaired. The facility is currently without air conditioning and does not have the capacity to make repairs to the chiller sysytem. Specific Requirements: 2.1 Remove insulation on entering and leaving chilled water piping. 2.2 Drop the chilled water piping where it enters the chiller, pull both end bells. 2.3 Eddy current all tubes to identify ruptured / weakened evaporator tubes. 2.4 Take oil samples from the compromised compressor circuit. 2.5 Remove Liquid level sensor canister and identify the amount of water intrusion that circuit 1 suffered. 2.6 Compile report (Do not make repairs until approval is given) Provide service to make repair(s) on chiller, i.e. plugging tubes to acceptable manufacturers recommendation. 2.7 Perform start up and verify chiller is in working condition. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and services necessary to perform chiller compressor rebuilds on Joint Base Andrews. Performance shall be in accordance with all applicable laws, standards, instructions, executive orders, commercial practices, and requirements contained in the Performance Work Statement (Attachment 1) Quote in response to this solicitation must provide separate pricing for each of the line items identified in Table 1 in Attachment 3. Provision 52.237-1 Site Visit Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
