The 316th Contracting Squadron located on Joint Base Andrews (JBA), MD intends to award a competitive Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the Replacement of 24 Hour Access Door BLDG 1444/5 located on Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, 20762. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, and FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. The contractor is expected to provide all engineering, labor, equipment, supervision, and effort necessary to replace the 24 Hour Access Door in BLDG 1444/5. Tasks include, furnish and install new door 72” x 84” into existing frame reusing existing hinges and closes, install new electrified hardware, install new threshold, replace existing power supply and rewire new electrified hardware to power supply. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is less than $25,000. The Period of Performance is 60 calendar days. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 236220. Product Service Code (PSC) is Z2AZ. The Business Size Standard is $39.5M. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 10 February 2022 on the SAM Contract Opportunities web page at https://sam.gov with an anticipated closing date for proposals 14 calendar days later. There is no cost to use SAM and no cost for Government-provided documents associated with this synopsis or anticipated solicitation. Paper copies will not be issued. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates or amendments to any and all documents.
