316 LRS/LGRM Building 1618 (ARMAG) Joint Base Andrews AFB, MD 20762 SmarTrack Digital Asset Tracking System Statement of Work Installation and Training 1. INTRODUCTION This SOW provides details on the installation and training for the SmarTrack RFID System. A hardware and services list is all present, including part numbers for required items and services. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES The purpose of document is to list all of the included tasks during the installation and training of the SmarTrack system. Phases: 0 Preinstallation and Shipping I Equipment Preparation and Inventory II Equipment Set Up III Network Set Up IV Data Migration V Equipment Marking VI Equipment Scanning VII Equipment Inventory VIII System Training TASKS 0 Preinstallation and Shipping (Contractor Site) Receive equipment for authorized DOD Suppliers Check equipment for serviceability and that all parts are present Pack equipment for shipment Load and prepare pallets Notify customer of ship information Ship equipment and provide contract office and customer of shipping tracking numbers by email Track shipment until arrival I Equipment Preparation and Inventory (Contractor at Customer Site) Assess installation site for safety hazards and designated power sources Unbox all equipment Inventory contents and compare to shipping list Compare contents to contract for verification Inspect equipment for serviceability and correct item and quantity Order replacements or repairs if needed Dispose of all trash and packaging materials II Equipment Set Up (Contractor at Customer Site) Assemble system carts Assemble all system parts (server, laptop, scanners, antennas etc.) Connect all the system parts into a complete system Ensure the system software is installed and registered (Windows Server, SQL Server, Office, Adobe, SmarTrack) Ensure all connected devices are communicating Install all RFID antenna mounts Install all Antenna Cables Install RFID readers Connect readers and antennas to the switch Clean all areas dirtied III Network Set Up (Contractor at Customer Site) *Must be a stand-alone system not utilizing NIPR Install LAN Cables Install RJ45 Jacks if required Install Switch if needed Install RFID Readers if included Install RFID antenna mounts and antennas if included Install COAX cable between RFID reader and antenna if included Connect and test devices IV Data Migration (Contractor at Customer Site) Obtain property listing from unit Import or inter all equipment Add all serial numbers and identity info Enter all serial numbers and storage locations Enter all user accounts Enter all customer accounts Add all kit items Assign all kits Assign ordering alerts Assign inventory alerts V Equipment Marking (Contractor at Customer Site) Clean barcode or RFID attachment point on equipment Print and attach barcodes if included Attach RFID tag if included VI Equipment Scanning (Contractor at Customer Site) Look up equipment serial number Scan barcode if included Scan RFID if included Assigned Location Assigned ID number VII Equipment Inventory (Contractor at Customer Site) Add all equipment to the inventory list Conduct a 100 percent barcode inventory Conduct a 100 percent RFID tag inventory Identify and correct and deficiencies Rescan if necessary VIII System Training (Contractor at Customer Site) Train Users on how to load warehouse data Train users on how to produce storage location barcodes Train Users on how to produce product barcodes Train users on how to produce kit barcodes Train users how to set up inventory reorder, shelf life and product expiration triggers Train users on how to enter warehouse locations and organize warehouse storage bins Enter limited data Train Users on data back up operations Train Users on hardware operations Train users on hardware calibration information Train users on software operations Train Users how to trouble shoot hardware and software issues Train users on how to access support services Train users on how to access warranty services 5.
