The 316th Contracting Squadron located on Joint Base Andrews (JBA), MD intends to award a competitive Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Base Wide Fence Repair and Replacement located on Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, 20762. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, and FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts. The contractor is expected to provide all engineering, labor, equipment, supervision, and effort necessary to repair and replace fencing base wide. Each fence task will include as needed; posts and rails, hardware, barbed wire extension arms, barbed wire, tension bands or rods, concrete, etc. Example fence types on JBA include Impasse w/ crash cable, Attleboro, Wooden, Chain Link, and Ornamental Wrought Iron. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The Period of Performance is 120 calendar days. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238990. Product Service Code (PSC) is Z2AZ. The Business Size Standard is $16.5M. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 25 August 2021 on the SAM Contract Opportunities web page at https://sam.gov with an anticipated closing date for proposals 10 calendar days later. There is no cost to use SAM and no cost for Government-provided documents associated with this synopsis or anticipated solicitation. Paper copies will not be issued. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates or amendments to any and all documents. In accordance with FAR 19, this action is 100% set-aside for HUB Zone. Any prospective contractor must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and be registered in Sam (SAM.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
