The 316th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions (VHSS/SDVOSB) in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) Only one responsible source is capable of responding. VHSS is the authorized distributor can provide the requested items: Interacoustics Air FX Caloric Irrigator, Audioscan Verifit 2 Clinical REM/HIT, and Noah® Etymonic Design Module for Verifit 2. The items procured are compatible with the existing equipment being used in the clinic, and the requested items are proprietary technology and is not offered by any other company or reseller. Therefore, VHSS is the only company that can provide the requested items. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334510 with a size standard of 1250 employees. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of any capabilities statements or documents prepared for this notice.
