DESCRIPTION: The 11th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, MD, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) to provide a broad range of sustainment, repair, restoration, and modernization projects affecting real property at Joint Base Andrews, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, and supported tenants. All work shall be in accordance with (IAW) current industry standards and other specifications as identified in contractual documents. TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: Competitive 8(a) Set-Aside Mid-Atlantic Region CONSTRUCTION MAGNITUDE: The magnitude for each project shall be determined at the task order level. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Base year plus 6 one-year options ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The Government anticipates the release of the solicitation on or about 16 July 2020. The solicitation, when posted, will be available free of charge by electronic posting only and may be found at the beta SAM website located at https://beta.sam.gov. Amendments, if and when issued, will be posted to the above referenced website for electronic download. This will be the only method of distributing amendments prior to closing, therefore, it is the responsibility of the Offerors to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. REGISTRATIONS: Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Offerors shall be registered in SAM prior to any contract award.
