This is a solicitation notice--(related notice F1D4520348A002) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The attached documents within this solicitation references all instructions and requirement descriptions needed for this notice. Solicitation number FA286020Q0021 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13 guidelines. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-07. All responsible sources may submit an offer to be considered by the agency I.A.W with the attached solicitation number previously referenced. QUESTIONS; The following questions have been submitted regarding this solicitaion: 1. Q. Is there a response required for the attachment labeled "Signed FY20 QASP COAGULATION SYSTEM?" ANSWER: No--These attachments are for informational purposes only. The FY20 QASP Coagulation System PDF is what shall be expected as part of the contract award agreement. 2. Q. Is there a need to submit a proposal for cash purchase option of this requirement? ANSWER: No--The government is only seeking a Request For Quote per the description of this requirement. No other pricing information is required. END OF QUESTIONS SUBMITTED....PART ONE QUESTIONS SUBMITTED PART TWO....POSTED 24 JUL 20, 2:40PM (EST): 1. Q. Can you please provide the volumes: ANSWER: Volume Totals are as follows (Per Annual amounts): D-Dimer- 720 Prothrombin- 1750 Activated Partial Thromboplastin time- 700 2. Q. Page 3 of the solicitation states: “contractor shall provide all necessary Equipment and personnel for the lease of coagulation analyzer and maintenance services as outlined and IAW the performance work statement contained within the contract file” ---Are we just to provide the monthly lease proposals for the instrumentation and service on these analyzers for a period of 52 months? ANSWER: YES 3. Q. We have put together a proposal that includes all of the reagents, instrumentation and service for the 52 month period. Since this is not specific to the definition on page 3 of the solicitation, we will rework our proposal and include only coagulation analyzer and maintenance services. Is that correct? ANSWER: NO....Regents are to be included. Reference PWS per the following paragraph---“1.1 The contractor shall furnish two (2) coagulation analyzers, two (2) data management systems, two (2) printers, two (2) un-interruptible power supplies, an operators manual, accessory kits, reagents, calibrators, controls, and consumables necessary to operate the analyzers for the contracted tests.” END OF QUESTIONS PART TWO.
