Synopsis Notice Computerized Flight Planning Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762 This is a Synopsis notice to notify vendors a requirement that is being solicited as a sole-source solicitation to Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc., in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, procedures. Service Description: The contractor shall provide a variety of aviation support-related products and services to support the 89th Airlift Wing's (89 AW) Special Air Mission (SAM) pilots and mission planners as well as the following units: PACAF (65AS), USAFE (76AS), AFRC (932AW) and ANG (201AS). The aforementioned products and services consist of current worldwide computerized flight planning/charting client software with 24/7 unlimited computational capability and access. Products are required to be compatible with and in compliance with Department of Defense, Air Force Instructions 17-series (including AFI 17-101) network and computer software standards, to include software maintenance in accordance with commercial industrial standards and applicable federal, state and local regulations to ensure complete, current and accurate computerized flight planning services. Additional Information: - Description of the procedures to be used in awarding the contract: FAR Parts 12, 13, and 15 procedures. - Anticipated award date: 31 July 2019 - Intended Source: Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc. - Justification for the lack of competition: FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. - CLIN Unit of Issue: Months - Duration of the contract period: Base - 2 Months + 1 Year Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. - Salient Characteristics: Contractor must be able to provide worldwide flight coverage in order to be considered. - Solicitation will not be made available through the GPE.
