Sources Sought Request to determine the interest and feasibility of potential vendors capable of providing 30 each walk-through metal detectors (shall include delivery, setup, teardown, and pickup and provide their own power source) 30 handheld security wand metal detectors, 2 onsite technicians, 120 plastic trays, 10 “Metal Detector in Use” signs and 1 back-up walk through metal detector for the 11th SFS for approximately 4 days in the beginning of May, 2019, at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. This is for information purposes and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor the U.S. Government pay for the information solicited. The information from this notice will help the 11th SFS at Joint Base Andrews to plan their acquisition strategy. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a request for proposal. No solicitation exists at this time. The 11th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified businesses to provide metal detectors for SFS use. For this acquisition the NAICS code is 334519. All responding businesses are requested to identify their firm’s size and type of business to this NAICS code size standards 500 employees. Interested businesses responding to this market survey must provide a capability statement demonstrating their experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Government’s requirement for the above IAW 19.502-2(a).
