Sources Sought Request to determine the interest and feasibility of potential vendors capable of providing all plant, labor, materials, tools and equipment and delivery of the rental forklifts for use for the 2019 Joint Service Open House (JSOH) on Joint Base Andrews, for approximately 5 days in the beginning of May 2019 (tentatively 9 May through 13 May). This is for information purposes and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor the U.S. Government pay for the information solicited. The information from this notice will help the 11th CES at Joint Base Andrews to plan their acquisition strategy. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a request for proposal. No solicitation exists at this time. The 11th Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified businesses to deliver two (2) 10K industrial forklifts and two (2) 10K shooting boom forklifts in preparation for operations associated with the JSOH event. One (1) 10K industrial forklift must meet the following requirements: The forks must be a minimum of 60 inches long and able to spread to a width of 48 inches. The forklift boom must not exceed 10 feet in height with the forks raised 6 feet off the ground. For this acquisition the NAICS code is 532490. All responding businesses are requested to identify their firm's size and type of business to this NAICS code size standards $32.5M. Interested businesses responding to this market survey must provide a capability statement demonstrating their experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Government's requirement for the above IAW 19.502-2(a).
