This is not a solicitation announcement, and there is no request for proposal or related documents Hanscom AFB anticipates awarding one (1) Firm-Fixed Price IDIQ Construction Contract under North American Classification System (NAICS) 237310 with the size standard of $39.5M. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this presolicitation notice or any follow up information requests. The estimated price range is more than $10,000,000. This will be a 100% Small Business Set Aside with competition restricted to small businesses with their headquarters located within a 60 mile radius of the Hanscom AFB Civil Engineering compound located at 120 Grenier St, Hanscom AGB, MA 01731. The general scope of the prospective Contract is for the Contractors to provide repair/replacement of roadways, curbing, and sidewalks, including required demolition and earthwork, at various locations throughout Hanscom Air Force Base, Sagamore Hill Electronics Research Annex - Hamilton, MA; Fourth Cliff Recreation Annex - Humarock, MA; Cape Cod Air Force Station - Sagamore, MA; Patriot Golf Course - Bedford, MA; and New Boston Air Force Station - New Boston, NH. The Solicitation (Invitation for Bids –“IFB”) will be downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY. The project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Once the package is released into advertisement at this website ("Federal Business Opportunities"), interested bidders may download the full package, includes: specification and drawings files. The Solicitation package is planned for advertisement on or about October 12, 2020, with bids due on or about November 12, 2020. IN THE CASE OF A DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE DATES PUBLISHED IN THIS NOTICE AND THOSE CALLED OUT IN THE IFB DOCUMENT, THE DATES IN THE IFB DOCUMENT OVERRIDES THOSE PUBLISHED HEREIN THIS NOTICE; THIS IS RELATIVE TO THE IFB ISSUANCE DATE AND THE DUE DATE FOR BIDS. IMPORTANT POLICY: Bidders are REQUIRED to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) AT THE TIME ITS BID IS SUBMITTED to comply with the annual representations and certifications requirements.
