This is a notice that this Solicitation is a total set-aside for small business concerns under NAICS 333249. This is a Sole Source brand name purchase under FAR 19.507(e)1 This 3d printer shall have a build chamber size of 406 x 355 x 406 mm to build prototypes, end-use parts, and tooling for MMHE related projects and field requested tasks. The printer shall be designed with a touchscreen interface. This printer shall utilize ABS-ESD7™, ABS-M30™, ABS-M30i™, Antero™, ASA, FDM Nylon 12™, FDM Nylon 12CF™, PC-ABS, PCISO™, ULTEM® 9085 resin, ULTEM 1010 resin, and ST-130. This printer shall have the capability to embed hardware, circuitry, and other non-thermoplastic materials into parts, with no more than an hour of downtime for changeover. The printer shall feature a print accuracy of ± .127 mm or ± .0015 mm/mm, whichever is greater. This 3d printer shall be compatible with windows operating systems. The printer shall include operating software such as GrabCAD Print. The printer must be compatible with high-performance materials such as FDM Nylon 12CF. The printer must work in the 208VAC 3 phase, 50/60HZ range. The printer shall also feature an enclosure. The printer shall be able to function unattended for up to two weeks for extended build times. The printer shall employ FDM technology. The printer system requires minimal training of no more than one duty day to allow proficiency in the operation and maintenance, with a touchscreen interface and easy-to-replace build trays and loading options. There should not be any special facility requirements. The printing system shall allow installation anywhere with no noxious fumes, chemicals or waste.
