The proposal due date for this solicitation is being reopen and proposal are due NLT 13 July 2021. Offeror who have submitted a proposal DO NOT have to resubmit but SHALL sign, date and return the Standard Form 30. ALL proposal shall comply with the terms and conditions of the original solicitation as amendment through this amendment. Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL has a requirement to Renovate Squadron Operations Area, JSF Hangar B1412 on Eglin AFB, FL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $39.5M. Statement of Magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a 100% 8(a) Small Business Set-Aside competitive acquisition utilizing a best value source selection process and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.3. This project includes, but is not limited to the following, the selective demolition of existing interior construction, finishes and modifications to supply and tool rooms. Also included is modifying the existing SAPF to bring up to new ICD 705 standards and converting the second SAPF into a SCIF to house the 33FW intel function, to include performing maintenance on the 270 VDC power system in the hangars in Hangar B1412 of Eglin AFB. The performance period is anticipated to be 300 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the specifications. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number; recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov. Requests for site visit(s) are to be arranged by COB Monday, May 10, 2021 1400 CST. Please send an email request to Rachel Tilley -rachel.tilley.1@us.af.mil to schedule for base access, dates and times. A date and time will be established at that point. Base access requests (see attachments) will need to be provided for anticipated attendees. Proposals are due via electronic submission no later than solicitation end date; 04 June 2021 at 1300 Central Time. All offerors must submit their proposal through the DoD SAFE (Secure Access File Exchange) system found at https://safe.apps.mil/. Please review 1.3.7 Electronic Copy / Submittal. Note: Late submittal will be handled in accordance with (IAW) FAR 15.208. Notice to potential Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. Upon issue of the solicitation no award will be made until funds are available. The Government will reserves the right to cancel the solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels the solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offer or for any costs.
