The Air Force Test Center, Base Operating Support Contracting Branch, Eglin AFB, Florida is issuing this sources sought for market research purposes only to identify potential sources in the local area for its Packing and Crating requirement. Under the Packing and Crating requirement, the contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to perform packing, containerization, and drayage of personal property services for Eglin AFB, Hurlburt Field, and surrounding areas to include inbound, outbound, and intra-city/intra-area moves designated in the contract. The services shall be performed in Okaloosa, Walton, Holmes, and Santa Rosa counties, as well as Eglin AFB area, which consists of the main base, auxiliary fields, ranges, and test sites. All Packing and Crating services will be IAW the attached Performance Work Statement (Appendix G and Attachments G-1 through G-7) from the Defense Transportation Regulation – Part IV Personal Property. All Packing and Crating services will be for Outbound – Schedule I, Inbound – Schedule II and Intra-City (Local) – Schedule III IAW Attachment G-3. The Government will provide the estimated quantities on the pricing tables in G-3 in the forthcoming solicitation. Vendors interested in this Packing and Crating requirement will have to pass an inspection of their facility/warehouse. Details of this inspection will be provided in the forthcoming solicitation following the pre-award guidelines found in Appendix D. Vendors interested in this Packing and Crating requirement will have to follow the Third Party Payment System process detailed in Attachment G-7. The anticipated PSC code for this requirement is V003. The anticipated requirement will be a 100% small business set-aside. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit a capabilities statement demonstrating that they fully understand and are fully capable of meeting the Packing and Crating requirements detailed in the PWS and supporting Attachments/Appendixes.
