The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 236220 Power and Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $36.5M. The acquisition is anticipated to be a competitive 100% Small Business set aside. This effort is anticipated to be a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Source Selection Process acquisition. Award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.3. This project includes, but is not limited to the following, Construction, and Installation of a 3,500 square foot pre-engineered metal building, interior and exterior finish and trim, site utilities and infrastructure and furniture to make the facility functional. The performance period is 310 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the specifications. Proposals are not being requested or accepted at this time. As stipulated in FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No solicitation (Request for Proposal) exists at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Governments Electronic Posting System https://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 28 June 2019. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award.
