Period of Performance requirement has been revised from 180 days to 300 days. Solicitation deadline has been extended to 07 June 2021 01:00 PM Central Standard Time. This amendment supersedes amendment #1's decision in regards to the proposal bid guarantee requirement. SF-1442 (Solicitation - Amendment 2 - FA282321R00220002 PDF) and Section L (Attachment 5 Section L v3 - 18 May 2021 PDF) of the RFP has been revised to reflect that bid guarantee IS REQUIRED for this project. 2) Section 1.5.6 Relevancy Assessment, Table M2 - Relevancy Ratings, "Very Relevant" description's magnitude has been revised to "Greater than $2,000,000." FA2823-21-R-0022 Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL has a requirement to Replace Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression, Bldg. 1206 on Eglin AFB, FL. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors, with a size standard of 16.5M. Statement of Magnitude is between $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside competitive acquisition utilizing a best value source selection process and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.3. This project includes, but is not limited to the following: Installing a new ultra high speed fire suppression system in the indicated high hazard zones in the seven (7) explosive production bays and an overhead wet pipe sprinkler system in eight (8) bays in Building 1206. The project includes a new fire pump located remotely and the associated piping and electrical upgrades to support the new system, and incidental related work. All work shall be performed indicated in the contract documents; Statement of Work, Drawing, and Specification. The performance period is 180 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the specifications. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the SAM database will render your firm ineligible for award.
