This is a sources sought to determine if IPPD training services are available from multiple sources in the open market. Line item description may be solicited in the future as: Training by personnel to conduct USAF In-Place Patient Decon (IPPD) Trainthe Trainer course for 12-20 trainees at 61 MDS. This course is designed to educate Air Force Medical First Receivers on life saving skills, required to triage, initiate field treatment, decontaminate and save victims from Chemical, Biological, Radiological/Nurse (CBRN), or Hazardous Materials. This IPPD "train-the-trainer" course is 15 hours long. This training course is solely designed and structured for the USAF Medical IPPD Training curriculum. Required Qualifications for Offeror & Instructors -The contractor must be recognized by the USAF to conduct a 15 hour long IPPD Training consisting of 6 hours of didactic lectures, 2 hours of hands-on PPE training, 6 hours of hands on equipment training and 1 hour clean up training. -This course curriculum must be reviewed and approved by the USAF Nationally Registered Medical Technician Coordinator. Potential offers must provide documentation of USAF certification for organization/instructors. To include documentation that the course curriculum was reviewed and approved by the USAF Nationally Registered Medical Technician Coordinator. Potential offers are requested to provide current business size status.
