Combined Synopsis/Solicitation IAW FAR 12.603 For Sports Official Services (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6 “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items”, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number FA281620Q0008 is being issued as a “Request for Quote” (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-101 (iv) THIS ACQUISITION IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 711219 with a size standard not to exceed $11M. (v) SMC/PKE located at the Los Angeles AFB intends to award a Firm Fixed Price service contract for Sport Official services. The sports to be officiated are flag football, soccer, basketball, and volleyball. The Contractor shall provide Sports Officiating and Scorekeeping services at Los Angeles Air Force Base for all adult intramural, varsity, special events, contest and co-ed sport activities, and pre-season games that will occur approximately two (2) weeks prior to the start of the regular season as defined in this PWS. (vi) Games may be scheduled at LAAFB, the El Segundo Sports Complex in the city of El Segundo, located approximately 3 miles south of LAAFB or with a 10 mile radius of El Segundo or San Pedro, California. The applicable Performance Work Statement, and Service Contract Act Wage Determination are also attached.
