Space Base Delta 3 (SBD 3) has a requirement to host and sustain the Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB) to meet the needs of the Space Systems Command (SSC) mission. To ensure mission continuation post a major disaster at LAAFB, the 61st Civil Engineering & Logistics Squadron (61 CELS) has a requirement to return the base to normal operating conditions through a Contingency Response Plan (CRP). Dependent of the disaster, some harden shelters may not be habitable to support contingent operations and/or long-term sheltering needs of DoD personnel. This is one-time purchase is to procure Rapid Shelters to suffice the need of personnel assigned to CRPs and those who may displaced after a major emergency. This purchase includes 12 shelter (8 personnel to 1 shelter), lights, wiring harness, anchors, all parts needed to fully erect and sustain, hard cases to protect tents during non-use.
