AMENDMENT EFFECTIVE 16 DECEMBER 2022 1505MST: Please see the below questions with corresponding answers that were submitted prior to the deadline for questions: QUESTION: The RFQ mentions all the specifications for the framing, but has no details regarding the artwork/images that normally are displayed inside a picture frame. Which if any of the following scenarios are intended for this project? The Space Force be supplying paper posters or digital images to the winning vendor to insert into the frames The winning vendor will provide various options for the Space Force to select images. The winning vendor will ship the selected images in the frames. The winning vendor will ship the frames and foam board without artwork so that the artwork can be inserted by the Space Force or another entity at some later time If none of the above apply, please explain the process. ANSWER: 3.The winning vendor will ship the frames and foam board without artwork so that the artwork can be inserted by the Space Force or another entity at some later time QUESTION: Matting is the decorative paper that typically surrounds a decorative piece of artwork. We typically recommend a 3” wide white paper mat. Does the Space Force want the bidders to include a 3” white paper mat in the quote? ANSWER: Please provide a quote in accordance with the salient characteristics provided in the attachment. QUESTION: Does the purchaser cover freight costs or should this be estimated and factored into the per unit price? I ask this as I do not see a line-item for freight. ANSWER: Freight is to be provided by the offeror and should be priced in the quote. New Picture Frames to be utilized with new artwork for the common corridors on all 3 levels of both Building 300 and Building 400. Goal is to re-brand Buildings 300 and 400 to reflect the new Space Force missions per direction of Command. The current building corridors are outdated and worn. This will work along side with a current project to renovate the overall finished in the two buildings.
