NSA has determined ViaSat, Inc, supplies the ONLY KIVs and KGs that are compliant with their requirements and standards for DoD use. All communication security (COMSEC) materials must be sent to the COMSEC Responsible Offer at Peterson SFB and/or Schriever SFB to ensure equipment is not provided to individuals outside of the COMSEC custody chain. There are no alternatives that can be considered. The contractor will be working with each COMSEC Responsible person to ensure the circuits are terminated properly and passing encrypted traffic before leaving each site as upgrades are completed.
