STATEMENT OF WORK FUEL SPILL CONTAINMENT AND PAINT FLOOR, BLDG. 420 SCHRIEVER SFB 1. Project Requirements: The Contractor shall furnish all layout, survey, labor supervision, quality control, materials, equipment, machines, tools, appliances, services, supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform all of the work outlined below. 1.1. In accordance with industry standards, Contractor shall install concrete curb around the diesel fuel tank and diesel fuel pump. The concrete curb shall have rebar reinforcement into the existing slab of concrete. The concrete curb shall be sealed on both sides with construction sealant. 1.1.1. In the event of a fuel spill, the concrete shall be able to contain 450 gallons of fuel. 1.2. In accordance with industry standards, Contractor shall clean, pressure wash, and paint entirety of floor of Bldg. 420 basement. The paint shall be concrete gray epoxy. 1.3. Curb paint shall be a contrasting color, different from the floor, painted on the top of the curb to avoid tripping hazard. 1.4. Work is located in the restricted area therefore Contractor must obtain necessary clearance to provide their own escort for the duration of the work.
