The purpose of the amendment is to extend the request for quote, change from small business set aside to full and open competition, update clauses, and respond to contractor questions. Q&A: Question: Do you have a picture of the plate inside the breaker? Response: See attachments below. Question: What is the control voltage of the breakers? Response: 125v Question: Confirm that you want the OEM breakers tested after shipment and no installation is required. Do you want the breakers tested on the system also? Response: Correct. Breakers are not required to be tested on the system; however, the contractor may include this on their approach. Question: We are working on this project and we will need the Eaton serial # and general order, off the master nameplate of the MVA switchgear assembly, that these (2) breakers will go into. Response: See attached picture. Question: Will customer provide shipping to our facility and we provide shipping back to the customer (split freight)? We can provide roundtrip LTL Freight if needed, but want to know to refine quote price. Response: Sometimes during shipment from the plant the breakers can be damaged during shipment that is unforeseen. Testing will be accomplished onsite at the Government’s location. Question: Do you prefer round trip logistics be arranged by facility? Response: Testing will be accomplished onsite at the Government’s facility. Question: Does the government desire reconditioning price upfront? or JUST test and inspection price? With a report to follow, with any recommendations for approvals via a quote and contract modification? Response: Breakers will be OEM per the request for quote. Any damage will be identified in the report per the request for quote. Based on the report, the Government will decide what action will be taken at that time. Question: What is ESS hand delivery mean? Response: Electrical Services and Systems. The request for quote has been updated to reflect this. Question: Confirming this is a product supply only and no installation is required.
