This is a new requirement with majority of facilities and infrastructure having been built in the 1980s and 1990s. Existing facility paint color schemes do not meet the current Installation Facilities Standards (IFS). Additionally, paint and protective coatings throughout the base are at the end of their lifecycle, diminishing the life-span of infrastructure and making it vulnerable to the elements. This contract aims to repair, maintain, or provide protective coatings for Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) to extend expected service life. The contractor shall provide, but not limited to, all personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, materials, supervision, and all other items or services necessary to perform the work as defined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Painting can include preparing and painting walls and ceilings of single or multiple facilities, and may include preparing and painting such items as doors, door frames, handrails, roll-up doors, bollards, down spouts and other fixtures/items that are inside or outside of the facility.
