FC 4-740-14 Facilities Criteria for Child Development Centers, 3-4.3.9 requires two way hands free communication from room-to-room and from room-to-master station. The hands free communication shall function as a one-touch control, and allow for communication from anywhere in the room without headsets, handsets or cords. The CDC also requires the capability to have private conversations between the rooms and master station to discuss specific issues with children. Replace and install 24 handset units to serve as the required remote units in administrative offices, child activity rooms, training rooms, and kitchen per FC 4-740-14. Replace and install 4 handset units at the front desk and in manager’s office to serve as the required master station per FC 4-740-14. Replace and install 8 waterproof units outside of the building to serve as the required remote units for the outdoor play environments per FC 4-740-14. We have scheduled a site visit for 9 September at 0900 to ascertain the nature and location of the work to be performed.
