This increase in contractor support is required to provide additional, anticipated in-scope FTEs for performance-based services that include technical, engineering, budgetary security, and executive staff support to the Director, US Space Command (USSPACECOM) Program Management Office (PMO) and Mobility Assistant to the Commander of the USSPACECOM per the direction of the the Chief of Space Operations (CSO) of the United States Space Force (USSF). The USSPACECOM PMO requires this additional contractor support with the expertise and knowledge to continue to lead and manage the integration of the USSPACECOM Facility Military Construction (MILCON) with Command, Control, Computer, and Communications, Intelligence (C4I) Systems and Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure for the USSPACECOM National Space Defense Center (NSDC), Joint Operations Center (JOC), and other related mission command centers. This additional contractor support is necessary to continue to match pace with growing USSPACECOM requirements and are imperative to the successful operation of a combatant command PMO. The overall estimated value of the original order is increased by $8.6M from $4.9M to $13.5M. The period of performance and contract type remains unchanged as a result of the increase.
