A Sources Sought Notice (FA2543-21-f000) for this procurement was posted via SAM.gov for a total of twelve (12) days. The U.S. Air Force 460th contracting squadron at Buckley SFB, CO is posting this RFQ to solicit quotes for 75 operation floor chairs to meet the specifications of the attached statement of work. Please include the RFQ Identification Number or title in the subject line of the email submission. Description of Requirement: Chairs shall be designed to ergonomically sit body sizes from 4th percentile female (5’0”) to the 96% male (6’6”). Chair cushions shall be made of a material which conforms to the shape of the individual in the chair, but is able to bounce back and retain its original shape. Chairs shall have a dark-colored frame and dark-colored cushions. Chairs shall be adjustable in the up/down position, as well as swivel and recline. Chairs shall have adjustable and removable arm rests. Chairs shall have adjustable lumbar support. Chairs shall come with wheels to allow for mobility but include safety casters to ensure chair will not roll away when not in use. Chairs shall have 7 or more legs at the base, to ensure stability and strength. Chairs shall support up to 350 pounds. Chairs shall have a high back, which includes a headrest. Chairs shall have a minimum of a five-year warranty, covering typical wear and tear as well as replacement of parts such as wheels, legs, armrests and levers that are critical to the function of the chairs. Chairs shall be specifically manufactured for durability in a 24/7 environment. Deliverables. The contractor shall deliver 75 chairs that meet the above requirements no more than 60 days after receipt of the order. Chairs shall be delivered to Building 442 located in the Restricted Area at Buckley Air Force Base, CO 80011. The delivery driver is required to be able to pass a background check to enter the Restricted Area.
