Please review the new SOW to bid appropriately.***** The Fire Prevention Fire Life Safety Trailer is designed to simulate fire conditions in the home and office. It's a mobile unit that allows its use anywhere on the installation, as well as in the surrounding community. It is used as a means to train, educate and inform employees, active duty members, their dependents, school children, and base patrons. It will allow the Buckley Air Force Base (BAFB) Fire Prevention Branch to teach these groups how to recognize and understand the major causes of fires at home and the workplace, learn how to prevent fire, look for possible fire hazards and report them, have an awareness of fire safety devices in the their office and building, be familiar with the building’s emergency procedures, know what to do if a fire breaks out, and most importantly learn how to evacuate calmly to a designated location.
