Synopsis- Notice of Intent to Sole Source This synopsis is hereby issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 in response to the mandatory requirement for a 15-day notification. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce 460th CONS at Buckley SFB’s intent to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price sole source purchase order with Security Information Systems, Inc., located at 6314 Kingspointe Parkway Suite 3, Orlando, FL 32819 for the purpose of installing a new central server system with all supporting hardware that integrates into the Buckley SFB Fire Reporting System. The Government intends to purchase the following: Equipment and installation of all servers, server rack systems, operator workstations, and any other equipment needed to meet current Air Force network, supportability, and security standards for the existing Fire Alarm Monitoring System The Government intends to negotiate solely with Security Information Systems, Inc. per FAR 13.106(b)(2), as no other source will satisfy agency requirements. The new equipment must integrate seamlessly with the existing equipment to include 38 different alarm systems and the existing support plan for all equipment. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561621, with a size standard of $20.5M. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. However, responses received by 09/23/2021 11:00 AM Mountain Time will be considered.
