The purpose of this amendment is to clarify that preference will be given to firms within the Kingdom of Denmark for this requirement. Preference is given in accordance with FAR 6.302-4 International Agreement, between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Denmark, and particularly the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the Kingdom of Denmark (Including the Home Rule Government of Greenland), dated 13 March 1991 and the subsequent modification of the MOU proposed under Diplomatic Note 053, date 16 July 2008, and acceptance by the Government of Denmark in a Diplomatic note, dated 27 January 2009. Accordingly, the US Government intends to award one purchase order to a responsible firm within the Kingdom of Denmark who provides a quotation conforming to the terms of the RFQ at prices that are determined to be fair and reasonable. Note that as a result of this amendment, the date established for receipt of quotations is not extended and remains 1600 CET 30 August 2024.
