This notice is posted under NAICS 332312. THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for a building in a box. This is a Sole Source with building in a box in accordance with (IAW) FAR13.106-1(b)(1). As required IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15) MIC Industries 4150 Martinsburg Pike, Clear Brook VA 226264 is the only source capable of fulfilling the government’s requirement for a building in a box (LAUNCH ABORT SYSTEM HANGER SIZE: 40' H X 77.5" W X 104' L) and must meet K-SPAN buildings per market research. These specifications are a unique requirement to support the 823 Redhorse at NASA. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 332312. This notice was originally posted on March 25, 2024 with the NAICS 332311. As required IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The U.S. government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Notice will be solely at the expense of the interested party. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 7 working days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/PKB has determined that MIC Industries is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
