This combined synopis and soliciation has been amended on 4 Janaury 2023 to reflect a RFQ date change from the original amendment date of 6 January 2023 to 12 January 2023. This combined synopis and soliciation has been amended to reflect a RFQ date change from the original 28 December 2022 to 6 January 2023. The purpose of this combined synopsis and solicitation is to establish Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) with multiple hotels in the Cocoa Beach, Melbourne, Viera, FL, and surrounding area for the 920th Rescue Wing personnel on Temporary Duty assignments (TDY). The contractor shall furnish lodging accommodations for 920th Rescue Wing personnel lodging on a daily basis. The rates in this BPA cannot exceed the Government-approved, tax-exempt room rate for the geographical area where the hotel is located for the applicable fiscal year (government fiscal years run from 1 Oct to 30 Sep of each year). Each hotel, at their own discretion, can offer rates lower than the official posted rates as shown at www.gsa.gov/perdiem (reference the "lodging" column). TDY personnel must lodge in the local areas, as stated above. The 920th TDY personnel will be participating in Inactive Duty Training (IDT). The personnel participating in the training do not have Government Travel Cards, causing the need to have the lodging paid via the unit's representative Government Purchase Card (GPC) program. The unit representative will pay for all IDT rooms using the GPC.
