Answer: No, because the heavy equipment shop will offload the chiller in the mechanical yard. 2.) Is it a simple pick up and set down process from the truck onto the ground or will it need to be moved a certain distance? If it needs to be moved a certain distance, roughly how far? Answer: The heavy equipment shop will complete the transportation of the chiller from the mechanical yard to the building. The HVAC shop will install the chiller in-house. Then, a Trane representative will be there to verify startup. This is a Brand Name requirement for one each TRANE Water-Cooled Chiller. The solicitation number FA252123QA0016 is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial end product. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as an RFQ in accordance with FAR Part 13. FA252123QA0016 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this request for quote. Please make quote valid for 60 days from submission. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular. This is a set-aside for Women Owned Small Business (WOSB).

Patrick Space Force Base anticipates a requirement that is being considered under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed 333415. The size standard for this proposed NAICS is 1250 Employees. Salient Characteristics: Document is attached. What is the purpose of the item(s): The request for replacement of an air cooled chiller is required to condition the space inside the Base Theater facility. The contractor is to provide delivery and startup. The government will install the chiller. The chiller provides comfort cooling during security briefings and events. 45 CONS is interested in any size business that is capable of meeting this requirement. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, capability, and socio-economic category of potential sources for the requirement. The government requests interested parties submit a brief description of their company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or SDVOSB, WOSB, EDWOSB, or small business) anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Include in your capabilities package your DUNS, Cage Code, System for Award Management expiration date, GSA contract number and expiration (if applicable), and any related specifications/drawings. NOTE: RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT SHALL STATE IF THEY ARE A SUPPLIER OR MANUFACTURER! Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners.
