This is a solicitation for a Firm-Fixed-Price Construction Contract for the 45 Space Wing Patrick Space Force Base (PSFB), FL. NAICS: 237310 Size Standard: $39.5M The Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 (In accordance with FAR 36.204) THIS ACQUISITION IS BEING ISSUED AS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. OFFERORS NOT MEETING THIS CRITERIA WILL BE DEEMED NON-RESPONSIVE AND INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. The requirement is to Repair Spacelift and Challenger Streets by milling and overlaying the existing pavement to include curbing, sidewalk/pathways, striping, signage, drainage improvements, demolition of unused pavement, and restoration of demolished areas. Roundabout - Option 1: Construct single lane Roundabout type intersection to replace the conventional 4-way stop type intersection where Spacelift and Matador Streets meet. Roundabout construction includes additional sidewalk/pathway, curbing, asphaltic concrete construction, drainage improvements, fire hydrant relocation, and pavement demolition. CLIN 1001 includes deleted value of all work in the base bid that overlaps with the construction of a single lane roundabout at the intersection of Spacelift Street and Matador Street. *****Funds are not presently available for this effort. Project Number: SXHT 17-1037 Place of Performance: PATRICK SF BASE, FL (PSFB) Brief Description of work: The requirement is to provide labor, materials, equipment, transportation, & supervision to mill existing pavement surface of Space-lift Str4eet and Challenger Ave. Concrete repair and replacement, joint repair and /or treatment to minimize reflective cracking, curb replacement and asphalt concrete resurfacing of Space-lift Drive from the PSFB North Housing Area, north of Matador Street, south to Redstone Road. Construction of bike lane striping and multi-use path. Adjustments to drainage structures, additions of curb ramps, signage, striping and restoration of disturbed areas. Addition of storm water retention area, near parking lot at Challenger and Space-lift. Reconstruct Challenger Street paved surface and repair storm water system. Curb removal and replacement, addition of drop curb in areas consisting of mainly pavement to define the roadway from parking, maneuvering area. Removal of curb sections at cross walks for sidewalks and paths and replace with ADA compliant ramps at all road crossings. Milling existing asphalt surface and base material as applicable, treatment of base slabs and prepare joints for resurfacing. Additions of geosynthetic materials to control reflective cracking of new surface. Placement of asphaltic concrete road surface and maintain existing drainage pattern and structure adjustments. Signing and striping for the entire length of project. Addition of bike lane along north boundary space lift and sidewalk widening or installation of the new multi-use path adjacent to the south-bound lane of Space-lift and restoration of all disturbed areas to result in complete and usable roadways. With an Option (1) to include all work in the base project scope and to include the option to construct a single lane roundabout at the intersection of Space-lift and Matador Street.
