PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: This is NOT a request for proposal or invitation for bid. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick SFB, FL announces the anticipated release of Solicitation number FA252122B0002 being issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation document. This electronic announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued. This IFB is being set aside to HUBZone Owned Small Business concerns; all others will be deemed non responsive. Contract award will be based on FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. An award will be made to the responsible bidder (IAW FAR 9.104-1) whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the invitation. Project Title: Renovate ICO Facility 35420 Project Number: DBEH 20-1501 Place of performance: Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida 32925 Brief description of work: Project DBEH-20-1501; Bid is for a base bid and possibly 4 (four additive items), additive items may or may not be award and number awarded will be determined at time of bid opening on availability of funds remaining. Work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment and materials to renovate/repair Facility 35420. Work includes replacement of interior lighting, add electric motors to garage doors,interior/exterior building modification, installation of rotary type air compressor with sound mitigation, facility addition, and provide 20'X20' air-conditioned office as specified in the Drawings, and Specifications. Period of Performance: 145 to 175 (includes 25 non-access days and depends on number of additive items awarded) calendar days, to begin 10 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Size Standard: $39.5 M Magnitude of Construction: IAW FAR 36.204: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Additional Information: The applicable NAICS code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The acquisition will be a competitive set-aside for HUBZone Small Business concerns. The IFB will be available by electronic transmission only at http://www.sam.gov The IFB is expected to be available on or about 22 Mar 2022. This project will have a Pre-Bid site visit. The site visit time and date will be estabilished in the solicitation. This acquisition is being issued under FAR 19.805 Competitive HUBZone Owned Small Business set-aside and solicited via Invitation for Bid. Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System. Contractors must be registered in WAWF, see internet site: https://wawf.eb.mil for registration.
