The 45th Contracting Squadron, Cape Canaveral SFS, FL announces the anticipated release of an Invitation for Bid for Project No. KSCC 19-1534 for a single-award contract to be performed at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), FL. All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual IFB document. This electronic announcement constitutes the pre-solicitation notice. This IFB is being issued as a HubZone small Business Set-Aside; all other bids will be deemed non-responsive. Contract award will be based on FAR Part 14-Sealed Bidding. An award made will be made to the responsible bidder (IAW FAR 9.104-1) whose bid is responsive to the terms and conditions of the IFB and is most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the solicitation. Place of Performance: Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), FL Period of Performance: 210 Days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. NAICS CODE: 237310; Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction Size Standard: 39.5M Magnitude of Effort: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Brief Description of Acquisition: This will be a Single-award Firm Fixed Price Contract to provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to construct a final denial barrier system at the North Gate Entrance of Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), also known as Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Entrance. Install the active and passive denial barriers and associated signaling, electrical, conduits, foundations, and surface preparation. The final denial barrier system needs to be a gate configuration system remotely deployable from the Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC). All work shall be done in accordance with requirements contained in the contract specifications, contract drawings, and applicable base standards, state/federal laws, and Air Force regulations to provide the Government with a complete and usable facility. Due to the work location, contractor shall provide a copy of licenses of all personnel sub-contracted to accomplish work identified in the project's summary of work.
