The 45th Contracting Squadron, Cape Canaveral AFS, FL announces the anticipated release of Solicitation number FA252121B0010 being issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB). All applicable provisions and clauses will be included in the actual solicitation document. This electronic announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued. This IFB is not a set aside and will be solicited as full and open. Contract award will be based on FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding. An award will be made to the responsible bidder (IAW FAR 9.104-1) whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the invitation. Description of project: The work consists of providing the labor, equipment and materials necessary to construct approximately 2500 LF of asphalt paved roadway. This work includes removal of vegetation in the area of the new roadway and Scrub Jay habitat restoration of approximately 5 acres of land in accordance with the Statement of Work, Specifications and Drawings. Period of Performance: 300 calendar days (includes 50 non-access days), to begin 10 days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). NTP to be issued within 30 days after award. Size Standard: $39.5M Magnitude of Construction: IAW FAR 36.204: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Additional Information: The applicable NAICS code 237130 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. The acquisition will be solicited as full and open. The IFB will be available by electronic transmission only at http://www.beta.SAM.gov. The IFB is expected to be available on or about 20 July 2021 This project will have a Pre-Bid site visit. This acquisition is being issued Full and Open and solicited via Invitation for Bid. Potential bidders must be currently registered in System for Award Management to be eligible for award. (See internet site: https://beta.sam.gov) Payment for this acquisition will be made through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System.
