The purpose of this follow-on acquisition is to provide fire protection, emergency management and emergency medical services for Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) on a 24-hour per day, 7-day (24/7) per week basis. The mission of the 45th Space Wing requires that the contractor provide continuous fire protection, emergency management and emergency medical services. The contractor shall have the provisions to ensure continuous services are provided in the event of a work stoppage or labor strike that may potentially degrade these functions. The contractor shall perform all firefighting duties and tasks in accordance with but not limited to the following: Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 6055.06, Air Force Instruction (AFI) 32-2001, Air Force (AF) Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for Fire Prevention and Consequence Management, and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. The contractor shall comply with the Fire Emergency Services Self-Assessment Program (FESAP).
