Combined Synopsis/Solicitation 308th RQS Cold Weather Training FA2521-20-Q-B028 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number FA2521-20-Q-B028 shall be used to reference any written quote provided under this request for quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-04; Effective 15 Jan 2020. This is a set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 611699 with a size standard of $12.M. The purpose of this requirement is to procure non-personal instructional services/training opportunities of instruction for a maximum of twelve (12) personnel at the 308th Rescue Squadron (308 RQS) at Patrick AFB, Florida. The overall intent of the training is to give the 308 RQS operators the ability to understand the mechanics; methodology as well as the Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) of conducting precision rifle marksmanship/fire and winter mountain mobility on alpine touring skis, snow machines, and snow shoes. The training will encompass planning, mission prep and execution of such operations and give a solid understanding of what is needed to conduct precision rifle fire and winter mountain mobility in a combat environment. The period of performance for this requirement is 3 March-12 March 2020. See attached Statement of Work (SOW).
