THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for Upgrade and Repair of MEGGiTT Firing Range (10 Point) Target Retrieval System for Bldg. 9693, Patrick AFB, FL. This is a Sole Source with MEGGiTT Training Systems, Inc. in accordance with (IAW) FAR13.106-1(b)(1). As required IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15), MEGGiTT Training Systems, Inc. is the only source capable of fulfilling the government’s requirement which can upgrade and repair the firing range target retrieval system. These specifications are a unique requirement to support the 45 Space Wing launch mission. The attached Sole Source Justification has been made available for review. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 339920. As required IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/PKB has determined that MEGGiTT Training System Inc. is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
