All applicable provisions and clauses are included in the solicitation document. This announcement constitutes the solicitation notice being issued. This IFB is being set-aside to Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) concerns; all others will be deemed non-responsive. Contract award will be based on FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding. In accordance with FAR Part 14.408(a)(3); Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and price-related factors included in the invitation. Title: Construct HV Duct Bank, Trident MACA Project Number: DBEH 14-1510 Place of Performance: Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL (CCAFS) NAICS Code: 237130 Size Standard: $36.5M Brief Description of work: The work to be performed under this project consists of providing the labor, equipment and materials to upgrade the existing Trident and MACA area medium voltage underground distribution system, and upgrade Trident area lighting feeders. Repair by replace existing Trident Area 3-way switch TRIG3 with new 5-way switch 3S-TR3. Construct new underground, concrete-encased feeder between new Trident Area switch 3S-TR3 and existing MACA Area switch PAIS5. Provide 8 sectionalizing cabinets along the new duct bank route as indicated in the drawings. Reconnect existing feeders to new switch. Repair Trident area lighting feeders by disconnect existing pole mounted site lighting from directly-buried feeder, remove exposed portions of feeder and abandon remaining portions of feeder. Provide new feeders (2 ea) from existing panel PP2 (Facility 79150) to existing pole mounted light fixtures. New feeders shall be installed in directly-buried schedule-40 PVC conduit with 24" cover. The performance period for this project will be 260 calendar days to begin within 10 days after issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed (NTP). NTP to be issued within 30 days after the award. This acquisition is being issued under FAR Part 19.1505 Women-Owned Small Business Set-Aside and solicited via Invitation for Bid. The IFB is available as of 9 Aug 2019 with the bid closing at 09:00 AM EDT on 11 Sep 2019. An organized site visit has been scheduled for: 21 Aug 2019 at 01:00 PM EDT; participants will meet at: Visitor Control Center (South Main Gate), Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Hwy 401 North, Samuel C.
