THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a Women-owned Small Business (WOSB) sole source requirement to purchase Advance Cargo Parachute Release System (ACPRS) and battery packs. This will be awarded as a Sole Source requirement with Wamore, Inc. IAW FAR 6.302-1. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15), Wamore, Inc., is the only source capable of fulfilling the government's requirement. The ACPRS is used when a platform load is rigged for low-velocity airdrop. The ACPRS is designed for use in the airdrop of loads and it shall be able to sustain loads weighing 501 pounds to 25,000 pounds suspended. It shall be capable of one to five G-11B/C/D or two G-12E parachutes for Air Force training loads only. IAW with TO 13C7-51-21 the only approved releases are ACPRS National Stock Number (NSN) 1670-01-608-4698. FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The attached Sole Source Justification has been made available for review. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This item/service utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 332510, size standard: 750 EMP. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/PKB has determined that Wamore, Inc is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
