SUBJECT: SOURCES SOUGHT Amendment 2 – Transformers and Switchgears The purpose of this Amendment is to add the “Sources Sought Answers_CES Transformers and Switchgears” Attachment and Attachments 1 and 2 below. These attachments contain the answers to all of the questions that were submitted in response to this original sources sought and should be referenced before submitting a response by the new suspense date of Tuesday, 02 April 2024 at 12:00 P.M. Mountain Time. Please pay special attention to all red font as this indicates recent changes. The Peterson Space Force Base 21st Contracting Squadron is requesting information from potential electrical transformer and switchgear manufacturers/distributors. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335311, Power, Distribution, and Specialty Transformer Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 800 Employees. This sources sought is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with FAR Part 10. Peterson Space Force Base, CO is requesting information for the Transformers and Switchgears listed below in Table 1 for Market Research Purposes. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. This announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. At this time, PSFB is not seeking quotes and will not accept unsolicited quotes. Interested and qualified sources are requested to submit the following information to this office by electronic mail by: Tuesday, 02 April 2024 at 12:00 P.M. Mountain Time. (1) What is the fastest delivery time after award you could provide each of these items? Please reply citing the delivery time to Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado for each line item. (2) For line items 21 through 25, would it be possible to get those faster than the other line items listed? (3) Can you provide these items in the Table 1 or items of similar capability while still meeting minimum characteristics? (4) Do you have a pre-priced contract vehicle in place? (5) What is the threshold for your bulk quantity discount? (6) Is a warranty included? If so, for how long? (7) Company name, address, point of contact telephone number, e-mail address, CAGE/DUNS.
