Hypersonic Test Facility Reactivation
The Air Force seeks potential contractors to reactivate a mothballed Hypersonic Test Facility in Sandusky, Ohio, to provide a critical clean-air ground test capability for hypersonic technologies. The reactivation work is expected to take 18-24 months and focuses on refurbishing and recommissioning four primary subsystems: the heater/hot train, controls, process controls, and power distribution. This is a sources sought notice for market research only, and no solicitation exists at this time. Interested vendors must submit a capabilities statement not exceeding 50 pages.
