The purpose of this contract is to provide sustaining engineering services (SES) and Information Technology (IT) support for the B-1B and B-52 MD Test laboratories and 53 EWG STE. The contractor shall provide SES that consists of responses to recurring and non-recurring engineering tasks in support of the B-1B and B-52 EW operational test requirements, as well as maintenance to and upgrades of support STE. Planned taskings will directly support the maintenance, operation and technical capabilities of the AN/ALQ-161 and AN/ALQ-172 and other EW systems mockups and STE for the 53 EWG, to include the MTFs. This contract includes all 53 EWG B-1B and B-52 specific support equipment (SE) requirements. Anticipated contract award is 2nd Quarter FY22, with a 5 year ordering period. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements). No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
