STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) AFRL/RQ VDI Configuration and Support Dated: 07 June 2022 BACKGROUND: The Aerospace Systems Directorate (AFRL/RQ) has a requirement for the configuration and support of the AFRL/RQ Virtual Desktop Infrastructure at Wright-Patterson AFB. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The contractor shall provide configuration, diagnostic, and maintenance support for the AFRL/RQ Virtual Desktop Infrastructure system at Wright-Patterson AFB. This will include direct software and hardware support to keep the system functioning at peak performance as well as system diagnostics and recommendations for expansions and improvements. The contractor shall provide advice and assistance in maintaining the VMWARE software configuration, updates, metrics, and management. The contractor performing services shall be a direct employee of VMWARE so that they have the latest training and access to any VMWARE specific information available only from the software source. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: One (1) year from contract award. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: Contractor will provide a VMWARE Certified Professional with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure experience. Contractor will provide VMWARE internal support to the on-site contractor for assistance on diagnostic and configuration issues. Contractor VMWARE Certified Professional will work on location at Wright-Patterson AFB within the Aerospace Systems Directorate facilities, normal hours including Monday – Friday. Contractor will provide support of equipment in manner to minimize capability outages of system. Contractor will perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of equipment and software to identify configuration issues or problems. 2. GENERAL INFORMATION HOURS OF OPERATION: Contractor will perform the Services during normal business hours typically 0800 to 1700, Monday through Friday, customer local time and will include travel time to and from Customer location excludes local holidays, unless other arrangements have been made in writing between Contractor and Customer. STANDARDS OF CONDUCT: The contractor’s employees shall obey all instructions of base security personnel, posted instructional guidance’s, and base traffic laws, while on Wright-Patterson AFB. SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor must schedule technicians that have a valid and current driver’s license. Contractor individuals supporting this contract must be U.S. citizens. Contractor must ensure that each employee that will perform under this contract will obtain the required visitor pass required by Wright-Patterson AFB until a CAC card can be issued. Contractor employees shall comply with all Common Access Card requirements and requests. INVOICING: Shall be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.
