The Government plans to issue a solicitation for the following requirement: The Contractor will have a requirement to install, test, maintain, and provide training for one (1) AN/TPS-78 Long Range S-Band 3D Radar, and maintain, and provide training for one (1) AN/TPS-70, to support the Secretaria de la Defensa Nacional (SEDENA) of Mexico. This effort also contains a requirement for limited Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) for both radars. The purpose of this effort is to ensure that both radars are fully functional, and training has been provided to the partner nation personnel to operate and maintain these radars. The purpose of this notice is to share DRAFT versions of the solicitation documents for industry feedback. Notice to Interested Vendors: This notice is for planning purposes only and the Government reserves the right to NOT issue a solicitation following this notice or issue a solicitation under terms and conditions that are different than those specified in this notice. In the event the Government does not issue a solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse the contractor for any costs. Until a contract is executed, any effort performed in support of the anticipated effort is performed strictly at your own risk and expense.
