This notice is for information and planning purposes only. In accordance with Part 10 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, the Government is conducting market research to determine the availability and adequacy of potential business sources in developing the software identified below that meets the Government's requirements. This Request for Information (RFI) does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a competitive contract. Proprietary information will be accepted and handled appropriately. Responders should indicate which portions of their responses are proprietary and should mark them accordingly. The Government is not obligated to and will not reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. AFWERX Prime Division is seeking information around potential contractors who could provide staffing - highly specialized engineering, analysis, and programmatic support personnel, to aid in execution of AFWERX Prime’s unique mission. These contracted staff members would be primarily located in the Washington DC area in a hybrid remote/in person working arrangement with classified work driving in person activity. Work could be completed at an appropriate contractor facility or at the current USG facility. AFWERX Prime is interested in support for efforts across a few main categories - Advanced Concept Development, Modeling, and Analysis Autonomous System design, Test, and Evaluation Programmatic Execution Support and Analysis The AFWERX mission set is unique in that a great focus is placed upon innovation, rapid acquisition and leverage of non-traditional, small business or first time defense contractors requiring a specific interest, aptitude and experience from staff. Clearances will be required for most positions. It is anticipated that a single firm may struggle to supply the complete component of specialized staff for this effort, as such multiple awards may be made.. This RFI expects to determine the best contract structure, availability and interest from industry in support of AFWERX Prime’s unique mission.
