This contract was awarded as Firm Fixed Price using FAR 8.405-6(a) as this is a supply exceeding the Micro-Purchase Threshold where "only one source is capable of providing the supplies or service required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized." AFRL required the Battlespace Command and Control Center license available from Solipsys Corporation. They are the only one source able to provide the necessary supply.
