These units are being acquired for the Air Force Primary Standards Laboratory (AFP... AFMETCAL at Heath OH has a requirement at some future date for the purchase of Radio Frequency(RF) Reference Sources. These units are being acquired for the Air Force Primary Standards Laboratory (AFPSL) and the Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratories (PMELs). The units are mainly used for spectrum analyzer calibrations. A copy of the purchase description has been attached to this posting. This requirement will be solicited as Full and Open Competition (FOC) under NAICS code 334515 (750 employees). The Government envisions awarding a single firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five year ordering period to fulfill this requirement. The anticipated Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ) for the acquisition is 147 units over five (5) years. There is no guarantee that all of the units included the BEQ will be ordered. This acquisition will also require commercial data and commercial warranty. The pre-solicitation number is FA2263-21-R-0002 and shall be referenced on all correspondence submitted. This notice shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or otherwise pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice.
